• Dr. Jane Evans

    Dr. Jane Evans is a uOttawa Assistant Professor and a psychiatrist who is involved in psychiatry resident training. She supervises residents in both psychodynamic therapy and group psychotherapy. She has a passion for Brainspotting therapy because of its immense healing potential, and has been at the forefront of developing Brainspotting therapy in Canada.

  • Dr. Marjorie Robb

    Dr Marjorie Robb has been a psychotherapist and a child and adolescent psychiatrist for many years, and is a UOttawa Assistant Professor. Marjorie has dived enthusiastically into Brainspotting therapy for kids, teens and adults, and is involved in clinical research for Brainspotting therapy with young people. Marjorie is happy to be one of Canada’s trainers and to be part of the exciting journey many clinicians are making in their discovery of Brainspotting therapy.

  • Jeanne Talbot, MD., PhD.

    Dr. J. Talbot is a physician-scientist at the Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research. Her research focuses on psychotherapy as an adjunct to ketamine treatment for depression, as well as exploring novel treatment for depression, as well as exploring novel treatments for PTSD. This includes a pilot trial examining physiological and brain changes before and after six sessions of Brainspotting Therapy.

  • Allyson Coleman, MC, CCC

    Allyson is a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and a certified Brainspotting™ therapist, consultant, and trainer. Allyson also offers professional consultation and training.

    Allyson has worked with individuals in therapeutic settings and practice since 1999. She holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology and she regularly upgrades her training through professional development.

    Allyson has worked in a variety of settings in the areas of domestic violence, trauma, mental health. education and program development. She has been in private practice since 2013.

  • Dell Ducharme, PhD.

    Dell is a registered clinical psychologist with practices in areas of clinical, rehabilitation, and behavioral psychology. His practice crosses all ages and stages, along with most clinical disorders.

    At present, Dell is in full-time private practice. He is currently certified as a therapist and as a consultant in both EMDR and Brainspotting™. He is also a Brainspotting™ trainer and serves on both local and National boards.

    As a part of his clinical practice, Dell offers consultations to various organizations in his area, that provide semi-secured and community-based services to at risk youth and adults

Brainspotting Canada provides information on LLC Brainspotting Training approved trainers and trainings. Brainspotting Canada cannot recommend one training over another. All trainings listed by Brainspotting Canada will provide you with the training requirements to become a member of the Brainspotting Canada Association when successful completion of the training has occured.
